If I am the President
I will prepare my people to become an employee of the world-a global workforce.
If USA is a world police; then RP is a world labor force supplier.
How to attain?
In college; they have to have an Elective subject in Language and Culture of the People they wish to serve or work for.
The government will be the one to look for job openings in the country of choice. This will ensure of no illegal recruitment. The OCWs are dollar-earner for the country and why not give this kind of support to them.
Let us face that we can not compete with the highly-developed countries in terms of manufacturing. ( Although, we can do something for that to step-up with them…) We simply do not have the technology. This is our weakness - let us recognize it. And most of all; let us recognize our strength – our intelligent and versatile labor force. This is our export – people services. We will man their manufacturing facilities. We will man their machines.
The Philippines is not a poor nation. It is the people behind the rein of the government that makes the nation poor. They are just too selfish. They are not serving the people-they are serving themselves at the expense of the people.
The key for our success is very simple; only by recognizing our strengths and potentials.
